There are so many amazing writers out there. The list of people that helped me personally is endless.
Kindness Rocks!
I'm blitzing my sister, AKA the Blobfish (don't ask). She's always been there to debate [read: argue] with me all the little things in writing, from how to phrase a sentence, to how to break up a chapter. We have completely different writing styles, but we can still talk. And she supported my writing, even when it was complete garbage. Because seriously. I should have been banned from writing three years ago. That stuff should be illegal. (Don't you dare tell her I said this, but I think my sister is the better writer of the two of us, too!)
Something is in the mail heading towards you right now, sis. I hope you enjoy it. -D
Do you know someone special that you'd like to randomly acknowledge?
Don't be shy--come join us and celebrate! Send them an email, give them a shout out, or show your appreciation in another way. Kindness makes the world go round. :)
Becca and Angela have a special RAOK gift waiting for you as well, so hop on over to The Bookshelf Muse to pick it up.
Have you ever participated in or been the recipient of a Random Act Of Kindness? I'd love to heard about it!
May the odds be ever in your favor,
Riv
Yes, I think you're rather special! You have an amazing energy I love. Thanks for being a part of my YA Expert Board. Hoping to rev that up again real soon.
ReplyDeleteAw, such a sweet post!
ReplyDeleteThat's so great that you have a sister who writes. I'm looking forward to reading everyone's posts today.
ReplyDeleteSWEET!!!! YAY for sisters!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that you picked your sister. The last conference I went to, I met two sisters who both wrote YA, and that was just so neat. Maybe someday you'll collaborate on a book! :)
ReplyDeleteAngela
Yay sisters! I have two and they are awesome when I don't want to throttle them. *cough*
