Welcome! I'm Riv Re, teenager and aspiring author. I post Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Tuesdays are for book reviews; Thursdays are for a weekly meme called "Character Dolls," which showcases character depictions I made online; and on Sundays I just wing it.
This blog is for my writing misadventures, my reviews, ramblings, and rants. My favorite genre is fantasy, so expect a lot of the unusual.

Warning: I've got an awful sense of humor. Don't blame me if you keel up and die from reading the jokes I crack.
Notice: I hold no responsibility for any deaths caused by previously mentioned jokes.

Enjoy and happy reading!

Cover Reveal: Inheritance!!!!!

Hey Blogger Buds! (Yes, I know I don't usually post on Wednesdays.)
I. Am. Freaking. Out. I was scrolling through my Goodreads shelf, hoping to find some more unveiled covers, and there it was.
With a title.
And a cover.
And a summary.
And a release date!
*squee*

Inheritance, the fourth and final book in the Inheritance Trilogy, will be released on November 8th of THIS YEAR.

Anyways, time for some info!

Inheritance (Inheritance, #4)
Isn't it awesome?

I'm too freaked out to do much cover analysis stuff, but isn't that cover swoon-worthy? These dragons are all so awesome! And I wonder if this dragon is the final egg...?

All 4:
Eragon (Inheritance, #1)Eldest (Inheritance, #2)Brisingr (Inheritance, #3)Inheritance (Inheritance, #4)
Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.
Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.
The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaƫsia? And if so, at what cost?

*hyperventilates*

  1. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

I've just had a heart attack! Dear God! Are you serious?! Okay seriously I'm going to die! Not only do I already have 13 new books from Christmas and my birthday that I haven't finished, but I'm still finishing the Bourne Objective. Cruel world! My mom will be furious when I tell her how I "need" to buy this book, but
    1) I work a job; I have my own money, so she really shouldn't complain
    and
    2) The reason I'm behind on my book is because uhhh hello working on a novel here. Trying to get published. 10 months and counting. Madness!
    and
    3) It's freaking Eragon!

AHHHHHH:) This made my day! Oh my god thank you Riv! You've saved a girl's life. I have been DYING waiting for this book to arrive and now I'm going to be dying until November. THANK YOU!!! *tackles and hugs*

    Always,
    Lindsey
